One of my earliest role models was my dad's youngest cousin. He was this cool, funny guy who always had time to play video games with me and let me mess around on his computer. He was a whiz at computer engineering, successful, and admired by our family. I remember he got me hooked on this strategy game, 'Command & Conquer: Generals.' It wasn't just about playing; he'd fix any computer problem I had, showing me the ropes along the way. We'd visit their place, a good four-hour drive away, every couple of weeks or so. I was always buzzing with excitement, waiting to get my computer fixed. These experiences shaped what I wanted to do. I thought, "I want to be like him." And guess what? He's now a computer science professor at a top university, and here I am in IT, fixing computers, just like he used to. It feels great to pass on that same helpful spirit he showed me when I was young.
